Plunger cylinders are single-acting hydraulic cylinders that actively perform a pressure movement, while the return movement is performed by an external force such as gravity. Thanks to their robust design and the absence of a separate piston, they offer a compact and low-maintenance solution for numerous applications. The solid piston rod also acts as the piston and ensures efficient force transmission while minimising installation space.
