On 01.08.2019, 16 young people began their apprenticeship in the Montanhydraulik Group. Josef M. Mertens, chief financial officer, gave the official welcome with his best wishes for a good start into professional life and a successful apprenticeship.
The young career starters between the ages of 16 and 21 will be trained in four different professions over the next two to three and a half years. Among them are two prospective industrial clerks, eight cutting machine operators, five industrial mechanics and one mechatronics technician.
The Montanhydraulik Group currently trains a total of 62 young people and consciously focuses on qualified junior staff from its own company, since the know-how and skills of its employees are important keys to maintaining its competitiveness.
Following the training, Montanhydraulik offers numerous further training opportunities (e.g. as a technician or master craftsman, or as a Bachelor of Engineering as part of a dual course of study).
