In 1952 Montanhydraulik was founded as a repair and service company for wagon hydraulics. Since then, Montanhydraulik has developed the hydraulic linear drive from a simple power pack to a high-tech drive system.
On the one hand, this is thanks to the technology centre based in Holzwickede. Here, more than 65 years’ knowledge is brought together and driven forward by means of further innovations. On the other hand, Montanhydraulik has a very modern machine park and an experienced pool of employees consisting of specialists and manufacturing specialists.
The main plant in Holzwickede includes a manufacturing network in the heart of the Ruhrgebiet. The production locations in Holzwickede, Gelsenkirchen, and Hamm form a production network with product-specific strengths, and this allows a high level of manufacturing expertise and flexibility to be achieved.
The group has its own electro-galvanic coating plant in Werl, where the majority of the cylinders are chromed. In addition, this is the location of our innovation centre, where our future-orientated coating systems are investigated.
